We often get a lot of questions about how our preschool enrollment process works here at Building Blocks Christian Academy. Our goal is to take the stress and worry about finding, and applying for, preschool. If you are considering enrolling your child at Building Blocks Christian Academy we’d like to share with you some details about our simple process.
We always recommend that parents schedule a tour. We would love to have you come visit us and see how we put our philosophy and methods into practice. During the tour, the Preschool Director will meet with you and your family, give you a tour of our campus and introduce you to our staff. We will provide you with additional information about our program, philosophy and curriculum, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Some families prefer to have multiple visits before enrolling. Perhaps your spouse was unable to attend the first time, or you want to bring your child along and see how he interacts with the environment. We are happy to accommodate “second look” tours!
When you decide that Building Blocks Christian Academy is a good fit for your family and you would like to enroll your child, a short application form and the registration fee will hold your child’s place in the program.
After applying for your child’s spot, the director will go over the enrollment packet with you and schedule your child’s first day of school. In addition this completed packet of information, we will also need a copy of your child’s immunization record and the completed physician’s report (found in the enrollment packet). These documents must be turned in before your child’s first day of school.
We encourage parents to visit with your child before their first day to help him or her become familiar with his or her new school. Before your child begins, the Preschool Director will also meet with you for a brief orientation to help you prepare for the first day of school.
